max_flow for 667 MHz FB DIMMs for Mac Pro System [Model ID: 1,1 & 2,1 ] 2006-2007 Models

max_flow is a unique product that provides continuous cooling for the Fully buffered DIMM memory modules for the Apple Mac Pro System, max_flow enables constant removal of heat from the FB DIMMs installed in the upper memory riser card and the lower memory riser card of the Mac Pro System.




max_flow for the Upper Riser Card Installation.
max_flow is installed on the upper memory riser card on the FB DIMM with Apple Siinks, it can be installed on the FB DIMM either in slot A1 or A4. User can install any pair of FB DIMM with different heatspreader or heatsink in slots A1/A2 or A3/A4, only one FBDIMM with Apple HeatSink is required in memory slot A1 or A4 of the upper memory riser card.

max_flow for the Lower Riser Card Installation..
max_flow is installed for the lower memory riser card on the Mac Pro Chassis Panel, if the users already have FB DIMMS with different type of heatspreader or HeatSinks on the lower riser card, max_flow can be installed in the lower riser card for cooling.

Thank you for suggesting the Max Flow cooling module for my Mac Pro. The product is well constructed, and the documentation was thorough and easy to understand. I just wanted to let you know that the Max Flow fan is working great. Pretty easy to install and it makes no noticeable noise. Temperatures have really dropped on the chips. I spent the weekend processing video and playing on X-Plane and the temps stayed significantly lower.
