MaxConnect SAS/SATA Link for Mac Pro [2006-2008] Systems

a product designed to connect four internal disk drive bays of the Mac
Pro System to a PCI Express SAS or SATA Controller installed in any PCI
Express Expansion Slot of the computer. |
MaxConnect
SAS/ SATA Link offers Mac Pro users highest level of flexibility in
data speed and redundancy, users can now integrate fastest internal SAS/SATA storage
system for Mac Pro based upon their need and requirement.
MaxConnect SAS/SATA Link has micro form factor of just 0.45Hx1WX2D inches, it is housed in
completely covered machined thermo plastic micro case for maximum
protection and reliability.
Mac Pro users can now install SAS/SATA
Host Bus Adapter or RAID Controller in any PCI Express Expansion Slot
of the Mac Pro System and can be configured as RAID 0,1, 5 , 6 or more
for maxiumum speed and redundancy. Note: ( RAID Level Support Dependant
on the type of Controller)

The above test
results shows four 15,000 RPM SAS (Serial Attach SCSI) Hard Disk Drive
connected to the four internal drives bays of the 8-Core Mac Pro System
(early 2008 model) via PCI Express SAS Host Bus Adapter installed in PCI
Express Expansion Slot 2 (Rev 2).
Performance of SAS 4x...RAID Level 0 along
with SAS 4x...RAID level 5 is been shown. The drives and PCIe Controller is
connected via MaxConnect SAS/SATA Link. |
